Meet our HSBA President: Genesis Jara
It is with great honor and privilege to serve as the President of the Hispanic Students Business Association for the 2016-2017 school year. I am currently a second year student majoring in Business Management and minoring in Communications. I was involved with HSBA last year as both a member and a officer. I took on the position as Community Relations Director due to the strong passion I have always had for giving back and volunteering in my community. As the Community Relations Director I was able to successfully plan and execute 7 community events throughout the semester that allowed us to get recognized by the Associated Business Students Organization Council for most Outstanding Community Service among all the business organizations. I strongly feel that philanthropy is the key to connecting the innovations brought on by the world’s best companies and its leaders to solve the world’s most difficult issues. I also believe that being a business leader that is a caring global citizen can bring out the best in you, both as a professional and human being. My goal is to take this great passion I have for giving back and serve my fellow members of HSBA by providing them with the events and resources they need to succeed in the business world. I welcome you to an organization whose mission is to foster academics, networking, and professionalism.
